Digital Marketing Account Manager
Hybrid – Manchester (M2) & WFH
The role
As a Digital Marketing Account Manager at Aware Digital, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, managing the delivery of tasks and ensuring ongoing success for our ecommerce clients.
You’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad mix of clients to understand their requirements and support our team in delivering great results. Whilst this will be a very hands on role to start with, the opportunity is there to grow and manage a team as our services and demand grows.
We’re a small team that prides itself on transparency, integrity and honesty. So whilst you’ll receive all the support you need to make this a success, you will need to be comfortable working under your own initiative.
Key responsibilities
- Be the primary point of contact for our clients, managing communication through our project management board, email and phone calls where necessary
- Manage team resources to ensure tasks are completed in-line with the client’s objectives and within the budget set
- Arrange and facilitate client meetings, ensuring discussion points are followed up and resolved
- Interpret the clients’ requirements with recommendations and ideas to help them achieve their objectives
- Prepare and present reports to clients, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and providing actionable insights.
- QA and proofreading of all work completed before submission to client as well as providing feedback from the client to the team
- Assist with pitching for new clients and improve the selling in of our services
- Identify opportunities for renewing client contracts, expanding services, or upselling additional offerings.
- Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, ensuring that strategies remain relevant and competitive.
- Bring forward innovative ideas to improve internal processes, client campaigns, and overall business offerings.
- Assist with our own marketing efforts, contributing to blog posts, events and proactively look out for new opportunities
- Assist with the delivery of tasks when required
Who we’re looking for
2-3 years experience in an agency or client facing role managing multiple accounts or clients
Confident creating and presenting performance reports and delivering them in front of clients
A solid understanding of digital marketing strategies and best practice across SEO, PPC and email marketing
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and project management skills
Good working knowledge of Google Analytics and Looker Studio
Commercially minded to assist with the growth of a digital marketing agency model
Relevant certifications such as Google, Microsoft, Meta Blueprint are desired, but we’ll support you through these if you haven’t attained them yet
Ecommerce or Magento / Adobe Commerce experience is highly desired
Above all, we’re looking for someone to join our small team, with a positive and hard working attitude who can take ownership of a key service for Aware Digital. Over time, this role will evolve into a senior level arrangement where you can take charge of your own team. - We work on a flexible, hybrid model to support you where you work best. Ideally this would include 2-3 days a week from our central Manchester (M2) office, as well as WFH and occasional travel to our HQ in Stoke-on-Trent (J15).
